Noted for his innovative use of traditional Celtic instruments in rock, pop and jazz, St. Petersburg, Florida native Neil Anderson is perhaps best known as a founding member of 7 Nations, America's groundbreaking Celtic rock powerhouse and one of the bands now credited with originating the "kilt-rock" genre. From 1995 until he left the band in 1998, Neil helped make 7 Nations the most popular (and subsequently most imitated) indie Celtic rock band in recent memory, selling over 100,000 CDs and touring internationally. Neil has performed with Paddy Keenan, Black 47, The Chieftains and many other top Celtic artists.  He has been a guest musician on many recordings over the years with bands such as Scythian and Hadrian's Wall.  He has also produced several successful solo projects as well as original music for television and film.  Renowned for his showmanship and versatility on stage, many people watch Neil just to see what he's gonna do next!

Born and raised in London, England, Trevor is blessed with that sense of humor and quiet sarcasm for which Londoners are famous. A songwriter of note, Trevor fronted one of the most influential English bands of the late 80s, The Bolshoi.  A mainstay of the London club scene, once described as "the best band you never heard," The Bolshoi drew much of its appeal from the incisive wit and biting satire of Trevor's lyrics, and his legendary antics as front man.  Trevor toured the world with The Bolshoi, with predictable results:  hit songs on the charts, several videos in heavy rotation at the height of the MTV era, and  a rabid international cult-following which continues to this day,  As lead vocalist and a world-class guitarist, Trev is the creative genius behind much of Rathkeltair's original material and brings that pop sensibility which makes Rathkeltair truly unique.
Nick Watson (Killyleagh, Co. Down, N. Ireland)

vocals, drums, percussion

A native of Killyleagh, County Down, Northern Ireland, Nick toured internationally as a member of the drum corps with Belfast-based Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band, six times world pipe band champions and one of the top competitive bagpipe bands in the world. In 1995 he joined Seven Nations and was the drummer on what are still two of the most all-time popular albums in that band's discography. In 1997 he left to form his own group, Jacksonville, FL based Celtic Soul, a band that enjoyed a large and loyal East Coast following for several years. It was Nick who came up with the name Rathkeltair, which is an ancient archeological site near his home village in County Down.  Nick is that rare drummer, both articulate and powerful.  His rock steady intuitive drumming is the foundation for Rathkeltair's incredible sound.
 Guest Musicians
Billy Thornton (Tifton, GA)

bass guitar, double bass, vocals

Tifton, Georgia native Billy Thornton developed a longing for roots bass playing and cultures past at a young age. After high school he continued his education in the archaic arts of Double Bass and Jazz earning a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies from University of North Florida. His search for the perfect sound led Billy to explore vintage gear such as tube amplifiers and "simple" passive bass guitar electronics.  With these tools Billy keeps up a grueling performance schedule.  Billy loves to play any style of music at any volume. You may find him playing jazz standards with a singer in a martini bar or letting his inner animal loose on an outdoor stage playing progressive Celtic rock. Either way Billy will entertain you from the first low end rumble to the last thunderous thump. Billy resides in Atlantic Beach, FL with his lady and two children.
